About Us

“The World Has Come to Us”

Reach the Nations (RTN) is a church of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association and an affiliate of the Southern Baptist Convention.  RTN was planted to reach the nations with the message of Jesus Christ as they come.  Working primarily in Stone Mountain and Clarkston, just a stone’s throw from downtown Atlanta, Reach the Nations is engaging people from all over the world. We believe God has called us to take the gospel where it has not yet been and mobilize disciples of Christ to go.  God is calling all peoples to Himself for the purpose of pursuing His glory to the ends of the earth.

 Ministry Area

The ministry area of RTN is primarily located , but not limited, in Stone Mountain and Clarkston, GA.  These two cities connect via North Indian Creek Dr., and make up the most ethnically diverse square mile in the United States.  Clarkston is home to more than 7,000 (some estimates say 15,000) refugees from all over the world. A refugee is a person who flees their home country due to war, political oppression, or religious persecution and seeks refuge in another country.  In Clarkston, you will meet Liberians, French Africans, Eritreans, Sudanese, Ethiopians, Burmese, Bhutanese, Burundians, Iraqis, Somalis, Turks, Afganis, etc.. Many adhere to Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism. Most have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. In addition to their greatest need–salvation–they have many material needs.

“And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.”

– Acts 17:26-27

  1. It was great to meet you via phone today, Bill. I am excited about what GOD has in store for you all at RTN. And I look forward to any way we can encourage/resource/serve you and the vision God has given you.
