September Activities

The month of September was filled with events. The Lord really worked through RTN in many ways. Just a few were the Missions and Ministry meeting, the RTN staff retreat, and a new Bible study that was started at Pastor Tegga’s house.

This Missions and Ministry meeting was held to discuss where the members of RTN believed the Lord was leading them to do ministry. 12 people, including the three RTN pastors, were in attendance, and each expressed a desire to see missions and ministry with RTN locally as well as internationally, in order to be Christ’s witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,” as Acts 1:8 says. Please continue to pray for RTN as the leaders pray for further direction in this area.

The first annual RTN staff retreat was held September 20-22, 2012. It was a time for the RTN staff to get together to plan and fellowship while camping in northern Georgia. Along with the benefits of being able to discuss RTN’s goals for the coming months, the staff was really given a good opportunity to grow in fellowship with one another as they met outside of the context of church and ministry.

For the last couple of weeks, Pastor Tegga, has been hosting a bible study at his house on Monday nights. Originally, this bible study was meant for the African church members, but the Nepali people have also begun to take an interest in it. It has been wonderful to see the church really unite in this way. Please pray for the continued growth of this ministry.
